Women's Ministry

TRUFAM's women’s Ministry exists for the purpose of growing women in their walks with the Lord. This is accomplished by providing teaching from God’s Word and fellowship in a variety of contexts.

Throughout the year, the Women’s Ministry organizes ministries to meet the needs of the women of TRUFAM. Each of these ministries seeks to teach how the bible applies specifically to women. Our prayer is that the women at TRUFAM would have different opportunities to grow in their faith together as they fellowship and learn from the Word of God.

Youth Ministry

TRUFAM mission is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth within our church and community by providing relative programs, activities, and events that will allow them to build a strong foundation of faith that will enable them to express and share their faith through their own words, actions and deeds; to encourage them to use their individual talents in programs and ministries that interest them in order to nurture their growth as people of faith while providing volunteer services to the community. Our goal is to enable young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it is to live for Him only.

Singles Ministry

We are a ministry focused on the unique life situations of singles. Our mission is to provide a group that fosters individual wholeness through a relationship with God, openness with each other, and outreach to the community. Our goal is to empower singles to help them grow both in Christ and personally, learn to deal with life's downsides, break any negative behaviors and patterns that prevent whole and healthy living, and to learn how to live the best lives as singles that they can. We will glorify God in all we do.

Couples Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to improve and maintain communication between partners in marriage. To learn that a marriage based on a foundation of biblical principles, is not only workable, but offers the most fulfilling relationship humanly possible. It is meant to encourage and challenge couples, in their spiritual journey, by getting them into Gods word, and build their marriage God's way.

One of the cements that hold couples together is a joint commitment to God, common values and activities.

Music and Arts Ministry

It is our desire to set an atmosphere that is pleasing unto God where the body of Christ can worship in spirit and truth.

At TRUFAM, we believe that worship is a lifestyle response to a perfect, holy and omnipotent God. If praise is declaring what God has done, is doing or will do; then worship is exalting God in His natural habitat.

Our corporate worship is a natural extension of the relationship we have with God when we are alone. When we join together on one accord to worship the Lord as the singers and musicians did in II Chronicles 5:13-14, we believe that the tangible presence of Almighty God fills the sanctuary resulting in changed, transformed and renewed lives.

Media Ministry

To assist in the fulfillment of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ by utilizing the various methods of technology available.

Our Responsibilities and Tasks are to capture ministry through photography, audio and video recording of the various Spiritual Religious events; provide media services and support to the various ministries; to invest in the God-given vision of the Pastor; to assist in fulfilling the main Spiritual foundation mission of the church; to maintain and update the various methods of media used for communication and the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Outreach Ministry

The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet; through personal witnessing, and the sharing the Word of God. To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships. To equip individuals to serve one another; first within their families, communities, our nation, and throughout the world.

The Outreach Ministry will:

Reach those that are incarcerated, hospitalized, institutionalized, and those that are in need of the gospel outside of a traditional church setting.

Health and Wellness Ministry

The purpose of the Health and Wellness Ministry is led by the vision and core values of TRUFAM through health education, prevention and awareness. As TRUFAM family members come together around the Word of God (Evangelizing People), the Health & Wellness Ministry will help equip members with Christ-centered education (Edifying Missions) to ensure they understand that health is as an integral part of serving God.

As the church family is united in the ministry of the body as well as the spirit, we are then prepared (Equipping Believers) to dramatically improve the health outlook, attitudes and well-being of our congregation and the communities we serve (Enriching Persons).

Ushers/Greeters Ministry

The mission of the Usher Ministry is to accommodate every Worshipper who enters the church with a seat in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible.

The TRUFAM Ushers are serve every Sunday morning at the TRFAM, As well as revivals, special programs and fellowship with area churches.

The TRUFAM Usher Ministry also ministers to the well-being and comfort of the church member as they enter the worship service. Ushers offer assistance and oversee the orderly gathering of GOD'S people for worship. Ushers greet, welcome and assist worshipers and guests with comfortable seating to the sanctuary.

Church Statement on Same Sex Marriage

True Foundation Apostolic Ministries goes on record applauding the leadership of President Barack Obama with his many achievements in improving the quality of life for all Americans; however we are in conflict with the President's personal stance on the issue of same sex marriage. As Christian ministers we reaffirm our commitment to God and confidence in the Holy Bible which we deem as His infallible Word. We go on record as believing that marriage is a most sacred union ordained of God between one man and one woman.

We shall continue as Jesus did to love and welcome all individuals into our churches. Yet we are called to preach against every variation of sin as described in the bible in hope that all people may be transformed into the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God also encourages us to pray for those in leadership positions and with this mandate we shall continue to lift up our President as he shoulders the awesome responsibility of leading the free world.
